Important dates:

  • Hang Your Photos THIS DAY ONLY: Saturday, September 29th, 12noon - 4pm
  • Open for Viewing: Sunday, September 30th - Friday October 26th (hours listed below)
  • Award ceremony: Saturday, October 27th, noon (Image removal immediately following the ceremony.)
This year's judge will be: Michael James O'Brien, Assoc. Chair of Photography SCAD, Atlanta

What is it?
The ACP Open Exhibition is a free pin-up show that celebrates the democratic nature of photography. It is open to everyone who can snap a photograph. Participants include: YOU! Each photographer is encouraged to bring TWO unframed photographs that are 8 1/2 x 11 or smaller. Framed or matted photographs are not allowed.

There is no theme, just bring your favorite photos you've taken lately (or ever).

Prizes are awarded in multiple categories: Viewer's Choice, Critic's Choice, Best Use of Color, Best Use of Black and White, Youth under 12 (1st, 2nd and 3rd place), Teen 13-18 (1st, 2nd and 3rd place), Adult (1st, 2nd and 3rd place), Senior (1st, 2nd and 3rd place).

An award ceremony will be held on Saturday October 27th at noon (photos are removed immediately following the ceremony). Invite your friends and family to attend!

Are you a school interested in participating? There is a Best High School Prize of $500 to be used for photo-related equipment or activities!

Getting There: Binders is located next to City Winery in the Ponce City Market parking lot off North Ave. Rideshare or pay to park (surface parking or entrance to underground parking is next to Binder's entrance). Or bike on the Beltline!
