Bring your dog!
ACP is pleased to once again present The FENCE, the largest public photo exhibition in North America! This outdoor exhibition features over 40 photographers from around the world who are telling compelling stories that reach across cultural boundaries and geographical lines. For the last five years, Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP) has been a part of The FENCE project by exhibiting the 700+ foot-long photo exhibition (juried by 40 jurors from a global call for entries) in Atlanta. This year, The FENCE will be exhibited simultaneously in eight locations: Brooklyn, NY; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; Durham, NC; Santa Fe, NM; Sarasota, FL; Calgary, Canada, and in Atlanta at the Piedmont Park Dog Park!
ACP's acclaimed public art program features temporary projects in a variety of diverse locations. It is significant in its ability to reach beyond the audience of traditional arts venues and expand the way audiences consider photography.
On Sunday, Oct. 14th at 2PM please join ACP for a walking tour of The FENCE, featuring:
- Jasmin Chang, United Photo Industries (the organization that founded the nationwide FENCE project) will lead the tour
- Georgia photographers Daniel Edwards, Raymond McCrea Jones and Dale Niles, who have photographs on this year’s The FENCE
- Amy Miller, executive director of Atlanta Celebrates Photography
