Women In Focus is a non-profit artist-initiated organization of women photographers who have joined together to support and promote the photographic arts. Women In Focus values each individual member for the unique contributions that she brings to the organization and strives to provide all members with the resources that they need to thrive as artists. Women In Focus is dedicated to facilitating a forum for open dialogue regarding photography in all of its forms.

Educational programs address both technical proficiency and scholarship by incorporating lectures, workshops, and critiques and by covering topics relating to the history and business of photography as well as the creation of images. Women In Focus engages in community activity by hosting events all around Atlanta. The scope of the group's activities is further extended past the geographical area of its home base through an Internet presence and joint projects with women photographers around the world.
